The Solo is a low cost
monochrome hand fed card printer capable of producing monochrome single side
plastic cards at a high quality 300dpi resolution. Print speed is 6 seconds per
card when printing using the thermal transfer method and 7 seconds per card
when using direct thermal cards. This time excludes the data download time from
the PC. The Solo is also capable of printing onto reusable thermochromic
cards.
All Magicard printers are covered by two years UltraCoverplus
(TM) warranty which includes no quibble printhead cover and a loan printer
service. Please note that the Ultracoverplus (TM) warranty is only valid for
printers sold into Europe.
Each Solo is supplied complete with a black
thermal transfer ribbon (500 image), 20 plain white cards, webcam, basic card
design software and Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP drivers.
